Jin Sung Chul, known simply as Jin Sung, is a South Korean trot singer. He made his debut in 1994 with the song "Your Lantern" and is now considered one of the legendary senior trot singers in the country. He used to work as a restaurant manager when he was younger before he got interested in music. In 2008, he released the song "At Andong Station" that became extremely popular in 2012 after it was re-arranged. In 2016, he was diagnosed with lymphoma and also got a heart valve replacement but has now recovered. He frequently appears on TV in many trot-related programs as a judge or as a mentor to many junior singers who respect him. He married at age 50 and has no children.
