The King’s Affection (2021)

Synopsis:

“Affection” is a historical drama based on the manhwa about twins born in a palace. Although one of the twins is abandoned for being a girl, she later pretends to be a man and becomes the crown prince when her brother dies.

Lee Hwi (Park Eun Bin) pretends to be his brother – the perfect crown prince, good looking, skilled in literature and martial. But due to this secret, Lee Hwi never reveals her feelings and keeps her distance from anyone who tries to get close, including the palace ladies.

Jung Ji Woon (Rowoon) is Lee Hwi’s teacher from Shikangwon (an institution that aims to train crown princes). He is handsome, courageous, persistent and take lifes as it comes and lives free as an optimist who enjoys life. As the son of a sahonbu (government investigative agency) government official, his future seemed to be clearly defined. However, there was a reason why he chose his own path.
