Park Wan Kyu is a South Korean singer. He graduated from Taekwang High School and later enrolled in the Music program at Seoul Hoseo Art Practical School but did not complete the coursework. Before debuting, he used to sing and work as a DJ at the US military base in Songtan.

He made his debut in 1997 as the 11th vocalist of the legendary rock band Boohwal and joined before the release of their 5th album, "Discovery of Fire". The lead single, "Lonely Night", has become one of the band's most recognized songs. He left Boohwal in 1998 to perform as a solo artist, and one year later, he released his 1st album that included the lead song "Love of a Thousands Years".

He then recorded many OSTs for dramas such as Goddess of Marriage, Empress Ki, among others. He released 3 more albums in between 2002 and 2006 and several singles before deciding to return as Boohwal's vocalist in 2019 when band leader Kim Tae Won asked him to return.
