Li Jian is a Chinese actor, born in Hebei Province and graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 2000, he made his official debut starring in the suspense drama "Thirteen Murder Cases" which is based on the thirteen murders that happened in real life.

In 2005, he participated in the sketch "My Wife is a Policeman" at the Beijing Crosstalk Sketch Invitational Competition, and won second prize.

In September 2010, he participated in the filming of the TV series "Forever Designation", which is known as the Anti-Japanese version of the "Water Margin". He became well known as the "Heroic Tough Guy" among the young actors with his wonderful performance in the hit drama series.

In 2015, he won the "Most Popular Actor of the Year" award at Jiangsu TV Drama Awards Ceremony.
