Kubozuka Yosuke is a very popular young actor in Japan. Similar to many other actors, he works in both film and TV sitcom. He graduated from Kanagawa Prefectural Yokosuka High School.

He has been a model for many magazines and TV commercials before starting out his acting career. He debuted in a TV crime drama and grew in popularity for TV series such as GTO (1998), Ikebukuro West Gate Park (2000), and particularly Strawberry on the Shortcake (2001).

In 2001, he won many best actor awards everywhere for his brilliant performance in Go!. His career has risen to the top due to the success of this film.

He is married a non-celebrity woman in May of 2003 and has one son, actor Kubozuka Airu who was born on October 3, 2003 and is now a reggae artist under the name Manji LINE.

In 2004, he survived after falling 26 metres from his 9th floor apartment. On July 12, 2012, he announced through his official website that he had divorced his wife a month earlier and he has official custody of his son.

He remarried in December 2015 and a daughter was born in 2017.
